Enrollment & Registration: Use WebReg to enroll in at least 12 units. Fees will not be assessed to your student account until you enroll. Tuition and fees are automatically covered by the department for eligible PhD students. All tuition and fees must be paid by the Registration fee payment deadline in order to avoid late fees.

[First Year Students] NEUG 296: When enrolling for a 296 section with your advisor, please make sure to use the “NEUG” section. If there is not a “NEUG 296” section with your Faculty Advisor please email neurograd@ucsd.edu and one will be created for your rotation. If you are unsure who to rotate with, please consult the Program Administrator. You may explire rotations that are outside of the NGP Faculty group.

NEUG 299: When enrolling for a 299 section with your advisor, please make sure to use the “NEUG” section. If there is not a “NEUG 299” section with your Faculty Advisor please email neurograd@ucsd.edu and one will be created for your advisor. NEUG 299 with your PI for 12 units if you're done with NGP courses. The “G” needs to be there. NEU 299 is not for NGP. 

As always, make sure to enroll in 12 units of graduate level courses (200 level or above) to be considered full time and eligible for financial support

Academic affairs requires PhD students to complete their annual evaluation in the Spring. Schedule a time to meet with your committee. First year students will receive requests to meet with the Program Directors
